Ballroom competitive ballroom dancing, also known as "Dancesport", is a competition where couples on a dance floor are compared to others by the most qualified judges.

The metrics for determining the winning couple include the execution and performance of various dance moves depending on a recognised or defined set of standards.

COMPETITOR REGISTRATION (NZRDI)

Register for the NZRDI Dancers Portal

This only applies if you wish to dance in the graded events which are nationally recognised.
Registration is not required if you are dancing only as a recreational dancer.
